Pixel Attack (Block Attack) is a compelling puzzle game that offers a challenging gameplay experience. Players are tasked with strategizing on a virtual grid composed of colored blocks that ascend towards the top of the playfield as new blocks continuously appear from below. The goal is to form horizontal or vertical lines of three or more matching colored blocks by exchanging blocks in pairs horizontally.

Successful formations result in the elimination of blocks from the screen, causing those above to fill the cleared spaces. The game comes to an end when the blocks reach the top of the playfield or specific game-ending conditions, such as time constraints or clearing blocks below a predetermined line, are met.

Moreover, achieving combos by clearing more than three tiles at once and scoring chains by triggering subsequent clears through falling blocks adds an extra layer of challenge and rewards players with bonus points. In multiplayer Versus mode, these actions also add a competitive twist by sending "garbage blocks" to the opponent's playfield.

Pixel Attack (Block Attack) offers diverse single-player modes to keep players engaged. Story Mode immerses players in the main plot, challenging them to defeat computer-controlled opponents in head-to-head matches. In Endless Mode, players strive to survive for as long as possible against an ever-accelerating stack of blocks. Timed Mode pushes players to maximize points within a two-minute timeframe, while Stage Clear mode presents a series of levels where the objective is to clear blocks below a designated line. Additionally, Puzzle Mode provides unique challenges that require players to clear all blocks within a limited number of moves, without the added pressure of rising blocks.
